Eric is the President and CEO of Conduit Funding® and the author of the three-part Gainology book series (formerly titled Mo’Sense). He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University (1992).He has over a quarter of a century of multi-faceted advisory experience.  Prior to business he had a successful Division 1 college football career and worked out for several NFL teams.

As the result of not seeking post-college employment opportunities and not getting the anticipated call from any NFL team, Eric didn’t need to take another class or securities exam to learn the importance of options.  He learned the hard way.

After a year of working in retail management, he moved toward his passion. At Prudential he obtained insurance and securities licenses, namely the series 6 and 63.  From there he took and passed the CPA exam. During the process of gaining his required accounting licensing experience he worked at local CPA firms and governmental agencies before taking an entrepreneurial leap founding Eric O’Neal January and Co at the age of 25.  He hasn’t looked back.

As a fee-only, independent financial advisor, consultant and certified public accountant, his advisory, investment and risk management strategies have helped individuals and organizations make and save millions of dollars.

Although Eric acknowledges that his academic background, professional training, thousands of hours of continuing professional education and overall business experiences are beneficial, he totally credits God and learning to apply His natural laws of momentum to money and economics as the sources of his expertise.
